The objective of this study is to find out the effects of Discovery Learning model towards students' caring attitude and learning achievement in science. This research used quasi-experimental method with Control Group Design Non Equivalent (pretest and posttest). The population in this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 PurwokertoWetan. The researcher determined the sample using Purposive Sampling technique.Based on this technique, the VA class was obtained as the control group and the VB class as the experimental group.
