Abstract

The odd semester final examination of Bahasa Indonesia Subject in grade V of SD Negeri 01 Sampang 2018/2019 used varied test questions. The making of test questions had not been managed through both qualitative and quantitative test items analysis. This research applied the descriptive qualitative method. The subject of the research was grade V students of SD Negeri 01 Sampang. The data were collected through document collections and interviews. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 16 and manual count using Excel program. The results of the research showed that the quality of the test items viewed from the content validity, construction, and language was 100%. The quality of test items viewed from cognitive aspect, specifically viewed from Bloom's Taxonomy was dominated by C1 level (memorizing). The valid test items were 32 (80%). All items had very high reliability. The level of item difficulty was categorized as easy (20 items or 50%). The item appropriateness was categorized as bad (18 items or 45%). The effectiveness of distractor items functioned well (14 items or 35%).
