The implementation of the Adiwiyata program is an effort to improve the ability of healthy living for students and teachers to create a healthy school environment. This study aims to find out the process, obstacles, as well as the efforts to overcome the obstacles done by SD Negeri Locondong to be a healthy school at the national level. This is is qualitative study with descriptive method. Observation, interviews, and documentation were used as the data collection technique. The respondents of this study were the principal, class teachers, students of SD Negeri Locondong, and officers of Puskesmas (Public Health Center) Rawalo. The results of this study indicate that there are some processes or programs implemented by SD Negeri Locondong to create a healthy environment, such as 1) Education which consists of three aspects, namely: a) Providing knowledge and skills about the principles of healthy living. b) Instilling healthy behaviors/habits. c) instilling healthy lifestyles by giving training so they can implement them everyday life. 2) Providing Health services and 3) Fostering a healthy environment. These three programs can improve students' understanding of clean and healthy living behavior so as to create a healthy school environment. It is also found some obstacles to realize SD Negeri Locondong as a healthy school at the national level are: 1) Limited funds. 2) Limited time for Puskesmas officers to pay full attention on UKS (School Health Unit). 3) Limited time to create clean and healthy behavior. Therefore, there are efforts to overcome the obstacles done by SD Negeri Locondong to be a healthy school at the national level: 1) Looking for funds from other parties/agencies. 2) Suggesting the Puskesmas officers spend their break or day off to do some activities in UKS. 3) Reminding students of any opportunities. 4) Giving real examples.
