This research was conducted to describe the student's ability to solve mathematical problems in open-ended questions reviewed from visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles in the material of plane figures. The type of this research was qualitative research. The subjects in this study were students of grade IX of SMP N 2 Ajibarang. The data in this research were obtained by using questionnaires, problem-solving ability tests, and interviews. The results of this research showed that respondents with visual learning styles were able to carry out four steps of problem-solving abilities while students with auditory learning styles were only able to carry out three steps of problem-solving abilities. In addition, respondents with kinesthetic learning styles were only able to carry out two steps of problem-solving abilities.
