This study aims to determine: (1) the relationship of reading interest to report writing skills, (2) the relationship of reading habits to report writing skills and (3) the relationship of reading interest and reading habits together to report writing skills of class X students of SMK SRIWIJAYA WANGON. The population in this study were grade X students of SMK SRIWIJAYA WANGON. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The sample of this study consisted of 3 classes, namely class X AKT A, X AKT B and X AKT C, totaling 93 students. This study consists of two independent variables, namely interest in reading (X1) and reading habits (X2) and one dependent variable, namely report writing skills (Y). This research is an ex post facto research. Data in this study were obtained using a questionnaire and tests. To determine the validity test of the instrument using the Pearson formula. Test the validity of each instrument is the content validity, construct validity and item validity. Data analysis uses Product Moment correlation and multiple regression. From the calculation results obtained by the regression line equation that is Ŷ = -26.868 + 0,774 X1 + 1,901 X2. These results indicate (1) there is a significant relationship between reading interest in report writing skills, namely tcount = 5.207> ttable = 1.986, (2) there is a significant relationship between reading habits and report writing skills, namely tcount = 5,094> ttable = 1,986 , (3) there is a significant relationship between reading interest and reading habits on report writing skills, namely fcount = 31.965> ftabel = 3.09.
