Abstract

Mahkota Putra Store is one of shopping centers in Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia that is jamp-packed with a lot of visitors, thus the demand of parking area becomes arise and lead to the side friction to the activities around D.I. Panjaitan street. This study aims to investigate the side effect friction factors towards the parking volume at D.I. Panjaitan roadside. The data were gathered than analyzed using double linier regression method. The results indicated that the greatest modeling of motorbikes achieved the equation Y = 268,850 + 0,970X1 - 1,239X2 + 33,116X3 - 15,351X4 with R2 of 0,723. It shows that the independent variable collectively influence the parking volume by 72.3%. Pedestrians (X1) constribute 0,22% impact, the stoped or parked vehicles (X2) constribute 0,16% impact, the in and out vehicles (X3) allow 19,2% impact and heavy vehicles (X4) give 2,6% impact on parking volume (Y). Then, the finest modeling of passenger cars has accomplished an equation Y = 23,902 – 0,83X1 -0,107X2 + 3,832X3 – 2,212X4 with R2 of 0,799. By means of these consequences, it presents that the independent variable accordingly impact on the parking volume by 79,9%. Pedestrians (X1) constribute 0,15% impact, the stoped or parked vehicles (X2) constribute 0,65% impact, the in and out vehicles (X3) allow 0,39% impact and heavy vehicles (X4) give 1,8% impact on parking volume (Y).
