Character Education is an effort to educate students to strengthen and develop the values of a good life. The Character of Cooperation is part of the characters that are important to apply in human life is no exception at school. This study aims to describe the planting character of student cooperation in extracurricular activities in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Modern Satu Atap Al-Azhary. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Based on observations that extracurricular activities are able to instill the character of cooperation. However, in its implementation, it was found that there were obstacles in instilling cooperation character in the form of obstacles found in the character of cooperation, namely there were still some students who lacked cooperative attitude in activities, such as lack of student awareness in group participation. The process of collecting data uses interviews, observation and documentation. The research participants were principals, teachers, and students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Modern Satu Atap Al-Azhary. The results showed that the inculcation of cooperation character was through an extracurricular activity program. Other schools are expected to be able to instill cooperation like the one in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Modern Satu Atap Al-Azhary, because the activities are very important to shape students into good personalities.
