Abstract

The aims of this study were to 1) determine the socio-economic characteristics of consumers of handicraft items made from coconut trash in Purbalingga Regency, 2) determine consumer factors in purchasing and using coconut waste craft products in Purbalingga Regency, and 3) determine consumer perceptions of coconut waste handicraft products in Purbalingga Regency. This study took place in Purbalingga from March to August 2021. Primary and secondary data are the two types of data used. An accidental sampling approach was used to determine the sample. The quantitative descriptive analysis utilized in this study was used. The findings of the study, which focused on consumers of coconut waste handicraft products in Purbalingga Regency revealed that female consumers outnumber male consumers. The majority of these customers are over 35 years old and have a monthly salary of between IDR 1,000,000 and IDR 3,000,000. Traders make up the majority of consumer professions, with the majority of education levels being high school graduates (SMA). Consumers rarely buy coconut waste craft things. Consumer factors show that. The majority of consumers are satisfied with coconut waste craft goods, according to consumer perceptions of satisfaction. with particularly interested in purchasing these products again and the majority of buyers believe that these handicraft products are very beneficial.
