Starfruit leaves contain flavonoid compounds, phenols, alkaloids, tannins, and coumarins. Starfruit leaves have high antioxidant properties. One of the compounds from the starfruit leaf plant that can function as an antioxidant is a flavonoid compound. This research is an experimental study by conducting antioxidant tests and body butter formulations of ethanol extract of star fruit leaves. All treatment conditions were made the same to determine the antioxidant activity test of body butter containing ethanol extract of belimbing wuluh leaves. The preparation of body butter on the ethanol extract of starfruit leaves has good physical properties. Cetyl alcohol has an effect on the spreadability and adhesion test because the greater the concentration of cetyl alcohol, the smaller the results of the dispersion test and the greater the adhesion to the preparation. The results showed that the body butter preparation of ethanol extract of belimbing wuluh leaves had antioxidant activity, besides that cetyl alcohol also had an effect on the physical properties of the body butter preparation of ethanolic extract of starfruit leaves.
