Distance learning is the implemented learning system during the pandemic and this descriptive qualitative research aimed to find out the parent's roles in accompanying their children during the distance learning, the obstacles and solutions from parents. The informants of this research included the four parents, four students, and the classroom teacher of the fourth grade. The data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using source and technique triangulation and presented in the form of descriptive text. The results showed that the parent's roles in instilling discipline in their children included giving direction and companion during the distance learning so their children can always be controlled and do the assignments on time, while the teachers support included giving an example of punctual learning and always communicating to parents about their children. On the other hand, the parent's obstacles included time issues especially for parents who had to work, the parent's lack of material understanding, and the less-focused children who still wanted to play instead.
