Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of competence, work placement and work climate on employee morale. The sample in this study amounted to 150 respondents who are permanent employees at PTPN IX (Persero) Kaligua plantation in Brebes. The analytical tool used is multiple regression analysis. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling.
The results showed that the variables of work placement and work climate had a significant positive effect on employee morale, while the competence variable had no significant effect on employee morale. Therefore, the leader of PTPN IX (Persero) Kaligua plantation should pay attention to the variables of work placement and work climate because they have an influence on employee morale, and increase the competency variable because it has no significant effect on employee morale.
