This study aims to determine the effect of competency, workload and work environment on the performance of the nurses in the inpatient department of Wijayakusuma Purwokerto Hospital. The population in this study were all nurses in the inpatient department of RST Wijayakusuma Purwokerto. The sample used in this study were 110 respondents using the saturated sample technique. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The research results obtained from t-test are; (a) competence has a positive and significant effect on performance (b) workload has a negative and significant effect on performance (c) the work environment has a positive and significant effect on performance (d) competence, workload and work environment has a positive and significant impact on performance simultaneously. Based on the coefficient of determination (R2), the percentage of competence, workload and work environment on performance is 43.5%.
