Phlegm cough syrup is one of the preparations that are often used by the community, this preparation can be obtained without a doctor's prescription. In storage, syrup can be used to solve problems, overheating or over-storing, which can affect the safety and quality of the preparation. This research study to study how the long storage and long storage of phlegm cough syrup used in the market. This research is an experimental study by taking samples using non random sampling with purposive sampling technique. Cough syrup phlegm in physical tests and contamination. Based on the results, it can be concluded that where there is a storage temperature and a long shelf life on physical viscosity and organoleptic safety, including the effect of storage temperature and long shelf life on microbial contamination of phlegm cough syrup syrup.
