Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the independent variables of the quality of work life and compensation for the dependent variable of employee performance through the mediating variable of job satisfaction at PT. Koyorad Jaya Indonesia. The population in this study were employees of the production section of PT. Koyorad Jaya Indonesia. The sample used in this study were 142 respondents with the data collection technique used in this study was accidental sampling. By using the analysis of the validity test and reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, T test, F test and Sobel test.
Based on this research, it is concluded that from the sobel test, it is known that the quality of work life has a significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction and compensation has a significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. The research results obtained based on the t test are obtained; (a) the quality of work life has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, (b) compensation has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, (c) the quality of work life has a significant positive effect on employee performance, (d) compensation has a significant positive effect on employee performance, (e) ) job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on employee performance. evidenced by t arithmetic greater than t table. Based on the coefficient of determination (R2) model 1 test, the percentage of the quality of work life, compensation, and job satisfaction is 28,9%. In the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R2) model 2 test, it shows that the percentage of quality of work life, compensation, and job satisfaction on employee performance is 43,2%.
