This was descriptive analysis research entitled Moral Values in Ketika Tuhan Jatuh Cinta Novel by Wahyu Sujani.This study aimed to determine the religious values in the novel.
This study was conducted using a descriptive-analytic method by describing the facts which were then followed by the analysis. By using the analytical descriptive method, the researcher must describe the facts that support the analysis of characters and characterizations using behavioral and conversational techniques. These facts are taken from the novel as reflected by the author through the characterization of behavior and conversation.
The results of the study indicated that there were religious values in the novel consisting of morals towards God and personal morals. In morals towards Allah, it included piety, sincerity, trustworthiness, and gratitude. Whereas in personal morals, these molas were described in trustful, istiqomah, iffah, and patient character. Both types of morals were represented by the main character, namely Ahmad Hizazul Fikri, and other characters such as Shira, Handi, Leni, Bu April, Kiai Saipudin, Kiai Baden and Fatimah. Thus, Ketika Tuhan Jatuh Cinta Novel by Wahyu Sujani is very interesting to be an object of research, so that the moral values in the novel can be useful and applied as an example for the readers.
