This study was purpose to analyze the effect of communication and work discipline on the performance of nurses with the mediation of word satisfaction. The sample this study was 107 nurses of Muhammadiyah Siti Aminah Hospital. Data analyze techniques used in this research were:Goodness of fit test (f), t test, t, sobel test and koefisien determinasi test (R2).
Based the result goodness of fit model (f) model 1 and model 2 have qualify goodness of fit test. The study result of t test concluded; (a) communication partially has a significant effect on job satisfaction of nurses. (b) work discipline partially has a significant effect on job satisfation of nurses. (c) communication partially has a significant effect on nurses performances. (d) work discipline partially has a significant effect on nurses performance (e) job satisfaction partially has a significant effect on nurse performance. The sobel test result conclude that job satisfaction was able to mediate communication on nurses performance and job satisfaction was able to mediate work discipline on nurse performance.the result of coefficient of determination (R2) model 1 show the R-square value of the effect of communication and work discipline on nurse job satisfaction by 69.5%. in the coefficient of determination (R2) model 2 test, the value of adjusted R square shows the effect of communication, work discipline and job satisfaction on nurse performance by 60%.
