Abstract
This research is motivated by the implementation of learning during a pandemic. Learning at the beginning of the pandemic was carried out in full online, then continued with mixed face-to-face and online learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of the blended learning model, identify the supporting and inhibiting factors, and critically analyze the blended learning model on the motivation and learning activities of elementary school students in Karangreja Village, Cimanggu, Cilacap. The type of research used is qualitative research with the case study method. The research subjects consisted of six teachers, six students, and six parents. Students are selected based on active, moderate, and inactive categories. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results showed that the implementation of the blended learning model was running well. Supporting factors are media and online learning tools and knowledge of using online media. The technical inhibiting factors are network disturbances, the availability of internet quotas, the specifications of the cellphones they have and there are still parents who don't understand online media. This study concludes that the application of the blended learning model affects students' motivation and learning activity, especially students who are known to be active, and moderate.
