This study aims to analyze the students' mathematical problem-solving abilities at grade VIII A of SMP Negeri 2 Buayan viewed from learning styles. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method with the Miles and Huberman model including data collection and data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Sources of data in this study were students of grade VIII A selected using purposive sampling technique. In this study, students were grouped into three categories, namely students in the visual learning style category, students in the auditory learning style category, and students in the kinesthetic learning style category. These categories were determined based on the results of the learning style questionnaire. A questionnaire, test, interview, and documentation were used to collect the data. The results showed that: 1) students with visual learning styles were able to understand problems well, to plan the completion plan well, to carry out the settlement plan well, and to re-check it well, 2) students with auditory learning styles were able to understand problems quite well, however, they could not plan the settlement plan very well, could not implement the settlement plan well, and could not recheck it, 3) students with the kinesthetic learning style were able to understand the problem well, to plan the completion plan quite well, to carry out the settlement plan well enough, and to recheck it well enough.
