Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of human relations and environmental physical conditions on the work ethos and performance of employees of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Tanjung Intan Cilacap. The population used in this study were all employees of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Tanjung Intan Cilacap. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sampling technique or bo-leader census sampling. The analytical tool uses Partial Least Square (SmartPLS).
The results of the study indicate that : 1) human relations has a significant positive effect on work ethic, 2) environmental physical conditions has a significant negative effect on work ethic, 3) human relations has a significant positive effect on employee performance, 4) environmental physical conditions has a significant positive effect on employee performance, 5) work ethic is able to mediate the influence of human relations on employee performance, 7) work ethic is not able to mediate the influence of thysical conditions environment on employee performance the results of the fit model test show that the NFI value is 0.700 so it can be said that this research model is 70% fit. The results of the coefficient of determination (R²) show that the influence of human relations, environmental physical conditions and work ethic on employee performance by 45,4%.
