Abstract
This research is aim to: 1) Develop of teaching materials writing poem used scientific approach to students grade IV SD N 2 Berkoh, 2) Describe the properness of teaching materials writing poem use scientific approach to students grade IV SD N 2 Berkoh, and 3) Knowing the effectiveness teaching materials which develop to teaching writing poem in the grade IV SD N 2 Berkoh. This type of research development ( Research and Development R & D). The techniques of data collection using inquiry technique, documentation, and test. Meanwhile the technique of data analysis using technique descriptive of qualitative and descriptive of quantitative. Based on the result of, that is 1) The necessary of teaching materials depends on students and teacher include four aspects, there are a) the understanding aspect and the necessary to concern of teaching materials, b) the necessary aspect to concern the teaching materials, c) the necessary to concern the physical teaching materials, and d) the necessary of presentation and language teaching materials, 2) The result data of professional validation and Indonesian teacher to concern teaching materials is professional lecturer if the conversion of score grades final result to teaching materials that is validation by the theme given total score 190 by the mean 63.33 by the sufficient criteria as well as providing validation of the second stage total score 245 by the mean 81.7, so include the criteria is very good. Meanwhile from the user validator (teacher) that is V. P1, V. P2, and V. P3, if the conversion of final result to teaching material given total score 243.8 by the average 81.1 so the criteria is good . Therefore, in the general of scoring about properness of the teaching materials which develop is good, 3) The product of trial result teaching material development in the research that is. In the grade IV A SD N 2 Berkoh , the average score result of posttest in experiment group is rise being 23.7 (from the average of 56.3 to be 80) so the completeness percentage also increase , being 100% . Meantime , in the grade IV B SD N 2 Berkoh obtained average score result posttest experiment group increase as many as 10.64 ( from the average 56.09 being 66.73), so the completeness percentage is rise , as many as 34,79% ( from 13.04 % being 34.79 %). This matter one of indicator that teaching materials which the trial test is effective to used at the study of writing poem to grade IV SD N 2 Berkoh.
