The study was aimed at describing moral values of main figures in Emak
Tonce Tragedi Pekarangan Miring novel by Pago Hardian. The research objects
were the moral values of main figures in Emak Tonce Tragedi Pekarangan Miring
novel by Pago Hardian. Moral approach was used in this study. The data were
texts containing of moral values in this novel. The data source was the first
printed Emak Tonce Tragedi Pekarangan Miring novel that was published by
Pustaka Hati in 2016 and contained of 278 pages. The data were collected by
reading and note taking. The data were analyzed by doing data reduction, data
display, and drawing conclusion. The result showed that first, there was
individual moral value that was related to the relationship of man and himself
including eight manifestations of moral values, namely firm, hard work, firm in
stance, forgiving, confident, brave, responsible and respectful. Second, there was
social moral value that was related to the relationship among men including four
manifestations of moral values, namely helping, giving advice and loving to their
children. Third, there was religious moral value that was related to the
relationship between man and God including five manifestations of moral values,
namely praying to God, trusting God, thanking God, praying and fasting.
