Abstract

The profitability of Islamic banking in Indonesia must be improved continuously so that it can be equivalent to conventional banking. Performance can be assessed from several bank health ratios. This study analyzes the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Non Performing Financing (NPF), Operating Expense to Operating Income Ratio (BOPO), Third-Party Funds (DPK) dan Inflation towards Return on Assets (ROA). The study was conducted on 13 Islamic public banks registered at Indonesia Financial Service Authority (OJK) during 2012-2018 with multiple linear regression methods. Partially, the results of the study showed that only NPF, BOPO and Inflation have significant effect towards ROA, while CAR, FDR, NPF, BOPO, DPK and Inflation have simultaneous effect on ROA.
