Non-compliance with hemodialysis has a negative impact on the patient's health
condition. The patient can experience many complications of the disease which
interfere with his quality of life. The aim of this study was to determine the
compliance and characteristics of chronic kidney failure patients undergoing
hemodialysis at Gunung Jati Regional Hospital, Cirebon City. This research is a
non-experimental research with a descriptive design and the data is taken
prospectively. The subjects of the study were patients with chronic renal failure
who underwent hemodialysis therapy at the hemodialysis institute of the Gunung
Jati Regional Hospital, Cirebon City and treated at the polyclinic from January to
March 2020, as many as 44 patients. Methods of data collection by filling out a
questionnaire through interviews. Data were analyzed using qualitative
descriptive analysis. The results showed that all patients with chronic renal failure
who underwent hemodialysis at the hemodialysis installation at Gunung Jati
Regional Hospital, Cirebon City obeyed (100%) underwent therapy. Gender, age
and drug cost in patients with chronic renal failure who underwent hemodialysis
had no effect on patient compliance.
