Abstract

This study examines the effect of intellectual capital, Islamic social
reporting, gender diversity of directors, and directors' age towards social
performance as a proxy of firm performance. The population in this study are
Islamic Sharia Commercial Bank listed on the OJK during 2008 – 2019. This
study's samples are 14 Islamic Sharia Commercial Bank listed in OJK selected
using purposive sampling method and obtained 128 observations data. The data
analysis method used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that
intellectual capital, Islamic social reporting, and directors' gender diversity do
not affect social performance. Meanwhile, the age of directors has a positive
effect on social performance.
