Abstract
This study aims to test and analyze "The Effect of Training on Employee Performance of Nurse at RSI Fatimah Cilacap with Employee Engagement as a Mediation Variable". The population in this study were all nurses at Islamic Hospital Fatimah Cilacap. The sample used in this study were 112 nurses using the simple random sampling technique. The analysis used was the Model Fit Test (F), t test, Sobel Test, and Determination Coefficient Test (R2). Based on the results of the fit test model (F) models 1 and 2 have met the model fit test. The results of the t test study concluded: (a) training has a significant effect on employee engagement(b) employee engagement has a significant effect on nurse performance(c) training has a significant effect on performance(d) training has an effect on performance through employee engagement nurses. The Sobel test results concluded that training had a significant effect on nurse performance through employee engagement. The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) model 1 shows that the ability of the training variable to explain the employee engagement variable is 58.9%. In the test of the coefficient of determination (R2), the second model shows the ability of training and employee engagement variables to explain the performance variables of 31.8%.
