This study aims to find solution for the lack of student participation of
class X IPS 1 Senior High School of Muhammadiyah Zam-Zam Boarding School
Cilongok Banyumas.
The study applied ASSURE Model Constituting a guide procedure for
planning and learning guidance that combines material, media and method. The
ASSURE Model consist of several steps : (1) Analize Learners; (2) State
Objectives; (3) Select Methods, Media And Materials; (4) Utilize Media And
Materials; (5) Require Learner Participation; (6) Evaluate And Revise. The six
steps in ASSURE Model constituted an intact package and is not a cycle. The
techniques of data collection employed in this study are in-dept interview.
The research result by using ASSURE Models shows the improvement of
student participation of class IPS 1 Senior High School Of Muhammadiyah Zam-
Zam Boarding School Cilongok Banyumas from low to high.
