Abstract

This research aims to identify: 1) the influence of teacher performance
assesment, 2) the influence of competency test, 3) the influence of certification on
teacher work motivation, and 3) the influence of teacher performance assesment,
competency test and certification on work motivation of elementary school
teachers in Gugus Lokawiyata Siwi Korwilcam Dindik Karanglewas. This
research is ex-post facto looking for causal relationships, to reveal facts based on
measurements of symptoms that have occurred in each respondent. Determination
of the sample in this study is a saturated sample, where all members of the
population become the object of research. Total population is 36 people. The
analysis carried out was a simple and multiple correlation analysis and regression
analysis. The lowest teacher performance assesment score is 80 and the highest is
90. The highest competency score was 88 and the lowest 28 based on data
competency test in 2015. The highest score of certification is 137 and the lowest
is 90 from 25 statements in the instrument were declared valid. The highest score
of work motivation is 84 and the lowest is 75 from 20 statements in the instrument
were declared valid. The results of this research are (1) there is a positive
influence on the teacher performance assesment variable on teacher work
motivation indicated by the correlation coefficient value of 0,729 and the
regression coefficient value of 0.931. (2) there is a negative influence on the
competency variable on teacher performance as indicated by the correlation
coefficient value -0.141 and the regression coefficient value -0.077. (3) There is a
positive influence on certification as indicated by the correlation coefficient value
0.541 and the regression coefficient value 0.121. (4) There is a positive influence
on teacher work assesment, competency test and certification on teacher work
motivation as indicated by the determination coefficient value 0.543 and
calculated F value of 12.692.
