Constitution was supreme law that must obey by citizenry and country
bureaucracy. The research was grounded happening the divergence action of the
country constitution in Indonesia. So it was necessary the understanding on the
values and basic norms on the constitution and implement on the daily activity.
Through civic education learning, it hoped to be able increasing students’
constitution awareness as youth citizenry. This research purposes to know the
influence of the civic education learning make students’ constitution awareness
grow. The research used quantitative approaching. This research used descriptive
method by survey technique. Subject of the research was students of SMA N in
Purbalingga regency. Sample of the research used based on the cluster sampling
technique and proportional random sampling. So it got sample ninety five
students of SMA N in Purbalingga regency. Collecting data were got by interview,
documentation, and also observation. There was influence civic education
learning of the student’ constitution awareness in the amount 0,337 base
indicators the material, media, method, and evaluation of the civic education
learning. There was influence competition of the civic on the constitution
awareness about 0,496 based on indicators civic knowledge, civic skill, and civic
disposition. There was mutual influence civic education learning and civic
competition on students’ constitution awareness in the amount 0.509 by
significant standard 0, 01. So, it could be concluded that there is the influence
civic education on make students’ contitusion awareness grow of SMA N in
Purbalingga regency.
