Abstract

Sengon plant (Albazia Falcata) is one of the plants which can be used to
prevent landslide. The study aims to determine the effect of Sengon plants (Albazia
Falcata) for the prevention of landslides by vegetative method on landslide-prone
areas in Sub-Watershed River FLow, Banyumas Regency. The method used is a
survey. The sampling technique is a sampling area. Data collection is done through
observation by taking data in the field and secondary data. Data analysis was obtained
by matching land quality data to conditions for growing Sengon (Albazia Falcata).
The results showed that of the fourteen land forms, dominated by temporary nonconforming
class (N1), namely seven land forms with an area of 1,273.45 ha or
62.74%, then non-permanent class (N2) contained one landform with an area of 70.75
ha or 3.49%, and there were three land forms with an area of 342.1 ha or 16.85%
suited to Marginal (S3), and Suitable Enough (S2) there were three land forms with
an area of 343.48 ha or 16.92%. The inhibiting factors were the percentage of gravel,
drainage, and rock outcrops.
