The aim of this research was to find out the students’ perception in teachers’
teaching method in teaching English. The method of this research was survey
study. The subject of this research was the sixth semester students of English
Education Department Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto in academic year
2018 / 2019, consisting of 88 students and the researcher used 30 students as
samples. The researcher used questionnaire and interview as the instruments. The
students’ perception in teachers’ teaching method in teaching English belongs to
high category with the average score of 80.90 %. Those, it can be concluded that
students have a positive perception on teachers’ teaching method in teaching
English.
