Abstract

This quantitative research aimed to analyze the effect of liquidity,
profitability and solvability on stock return. Independent variables in this
research are liquidity, profitability and solvability, while dependent variable is
stock return. Populations in this research were companies listed in Jakarta
Islamic Index companies during 2013-2017 periods. Sample were taken by
purposive sampling method and obtained 13 companies. The result showed that
liquidity has no positive effect on stock return, profitability has a positive effect on
stock return, while solvability has no negative effect on stock return.
