Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of Financial Knowledge, Financial
Attitudes, Locus of Control, and Financial Self-Efficacy towards Financial Management
Behavior of MSMEs businessman in Karangkobar District. The independent variables
in this study are Financial Knowledge, Financial Attitudes, Locus of Control, and
Financial Self-Efficacy. Meanwhile, the dependent variable in this study is Financial
Management Behavior. The population of this study is all MSMEs businessman in
Karangkobar District that generated up to 315 samples. The sampling method used in
this study is incidental sampling. The analysis method used is multiple regression
analysis. The results showed that Financial Knowledge, Financial Attitudes, and Locus
of Control have an effect towards Financial Management Behavior of MSME
businessman in Karangkobar District. Meanwhile, Financial Self-Efficacy has no effect
towards Financial Management Behavior of MSME businessman in Karangkobar
District.
