The thesis discussed the types of implicatures, namely conventional and
conversation implicatures and the form of implicatur speech in the conversation
discourse I'm Possible. Besides, this thesis also presented about the suggestion of
implicature implementation in learning persuasive text for eight grade students in
SMP Negeri 1 Purbalingga. This research was qualitative descriptive. The data are
speeches which contained spoken implicatures by the actors in I'm Possible September
2017 edition, while the data sources were the actors involved in I'm Possible
September 2017 edition. Data collection techniques implemented were scanning,
uninvolved Conversation Observation, and note taking. Data analysis technique
implemented in this research was pragmatic identity. Based on the data analysis, it can
be drawn that the types of implicatures contained in the conversation discourse I'm
Possible September 2017 edition were 45 types of speech data consisting of
conventional implicatures (17 data) and conversation implicatures (28 speech data).
The form of convolutional implicature speech in the form of sentences of news
(declarative) was 13 data; imperative sentence was 1 data, and interrogative sentence
was 3 data. Speech implicature was in the form of news/declarative sentence consisted
of 22 data,
