This study aims to describe the ability of mathematical generalization in terms of the mathematical disposition of class VII students of Muhammadiyah Junior High School in the material of triangle triangles. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Subjects in this study were students of class VII A Muhammadiyah Sumbang Middle School, using purposive sampling students divided into 3 levels, namely 3 students of high mathematical disposition categories, 3 students of moderate mathematical disposition categories and 3 students of low mathematical disposition categories. Data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Data collection techniques in this study are using tests, interviews and documentation. Research results show that students of high mathematical disposition groups master three indicators of mathematical generalization ability that students are able to recognize a rule or pattern and are able to identify it, students are able to use the pattern identification results to determine the next structure / data, students are able to produce general patterns and formulate numerically general For the mathematical group students are able to master two indicators of mathematical generalization ability that students are able to recognize a rule or pattern and are able to identify it, students are able to use the results of pattern identification to determine the next structure / data, while students of low mathematical disposition group only master one indicator of generalization ability mathematically, students are able to use the results of pattern identification to determine the next structure / data.
