Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of daily test of Bahasa Indonesia learning outcome done by teachers of senior high school in Purwokerto in academic year 2017-2018. This is a qualitatively descriptive research using questionnaire as instruments of the research. Samples are taken through purposive sampling technique. The technique is chosen due to ease the research in determining the samples because the population of the research, all teachers of Bahasa Indonesia in Banyumas, based on the data of BP2MK Board of Senior and Vocational High School region V is rather much. The content validity is used to check the validity. The technique of data analysis used is questionnaire. Based on the findings of the research, it is indicated that the implementation of the daily test has been in accordance with the procedure of the learning outcome assessment. It is proven by the result of the questionnaire from the respondents with planning aspect of 80,5 percents, action aspect of 82.4 percents, scoring aspect of 77.2 percents, and follow up aspect of 82 percents. The result of the questionnaire also shows the different implementation of the daily test between teachers of public and private high schools. In the aspect of test planning, the score of public high school teachers is 81.7 and the score of private high school teachers is 78.1. In the aspect of test implementation, the score of public high school teachers is 84.3 and the score of private high school teachers is 78.6. In the aspect of test scoring, the score of public high school teachers is 77.5 and the score of private high school teachers is 76.7. In the aspect of test follow up, the score of public high school teachers is 82.75 and the score of private high school teachers is 80.50. The common problems faced by most of teachers of bahasa Indonesia are the difficulty in making effective testing instruments of writing skill and the unpreparedness of the teachers in making additional items of questions in case of delayed test for some students.
