Abstract

This study aimed to figure out 1) profile of tofu home industry business, 2) strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and the threats entrepreneurship of tofu craftsman, 3) entrepreneurship development strategies of tofu craftsman, and 4) know the alternative entrepreneurship development strategies of tofu craftsman in the village of Kalisari, Cilongok Sub-district, Banyumas Regency. The method of this research was survey method. The data was collected through interview, observation, documentation. Descriptive method was used to find out the profile of home industry business. Internal factor analysis was conducted to determine the identification of opportunity and the threat factors. Entrepreneurship development strategies of tofu craftsmen were analyzed using SWOT (strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, threats) analysis. The result of the study showed that dominant force such as the spirit of entrepreneurship (3,065) as the internal factor. Internal factor of weaknesses was in form of unable to differentiate personal expenses from business (2,065) and the total number of internal factor analysis was 2,350. The external factor of opportunity showed that there were many tofu entrepreneurship (3,065). The threat external factor was difficulties to market tofu through online (2,891) and the total number of external factor analysis was 2,780. Entrepreneurship development strategy was in aggressive strategy which was a very profitable for entrepreneurship development of the tofu craftsmen to get better progress. The alternative strategies produced by the W-O strategy were 1) Developing tofu production technology, 2) Optimizing the role of tofu groups. The S-T strategies were 1) Maintaining the grade and quality of tofu products in order to penetrate new markets, 2) Using alternative local soybean raw materials with the finest quality, and for the W-T strategies were 1) Maintaining good cooperation and coordination with soy suppliers, 2) Increasing innovation of tofu product.
