Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of Price Earning Ratio (PER), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) on Stock Returns of companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index during 2013-2017 periods. The dependent variable was stock return, while independent variables were price earnings ratio (PER), debt to equity ratio (DER) and net profit margin (NPM). Objects of this study were companies listed in Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Sampling used purposive sampling technique and obtained 15 research samples. The analysis showed that the price earnings ratio (PER) and debt to equity ratio (DER) variables have no effect on stock returns, while net profit margin (NPM) has a positive effect on stock returns.
