Abstract

The purpose of this research are to examined the effect of
growth opportunity, leverage, net working capital, and cash flow toward cash
holdings of property and real estate listed in the Indonesia stock exchange during
2014-2016 periods. This research used time series data from the property and
real estate companies who Published Financial Reports during observation 2014-
2016 periods. The population were 49 property and real estate companies. The
data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis. Sample of this study 35
property companies.The results of this study indicated that growth opportunity
has a negative effect toward cash holdings. Leverage and net working capital
have no significant effect toward cash holdings, while Cash flow has a positive
effect toward cash holdings
