This study aims to improve students' self-confidence and mathematical communication skill of class VIII B of MTs Muhammadiyah Patikraja using Think Talk Write (TTW) learning. The subjects of this study are 29 students of class VIII B of MTs Muhammadiyah Patikraja. It is a Classroom Action Research conducted in 3 cycles and each cycle consisted of 2 meetings. The data of students' self-confidence is obtained from self-confidence questionnaires and the data of mathematical communication skill obtained from the evaluation test. The results of self-confidence questionnaire shows the average score of 57.84 in cycle I; 69.22 in cycle II; and 73.8 in cycle III. While the results of mathematical communication skill test obtains the average score of 51.7 in cycle I; 62.2 in cycle II, 73.4 cycle III. It can be concluded that Think Talk Write (TTW) learning can improve students' self-confidence and mathematical communication skill of class VIII B of MTs Muhammadiyah Patikraja.
