Abstract

The purpose of this research is found out Ramadhan activities in boarding
school Al-Ikhsan Beji Banyumas and the step to build spiritual intelligence
through these activities at the boarding school students Al-Ikhsan Beji Banyumas.
This type of research qualitative reasearch, that isresearch procedure that
produces descrpitive data in the form of writen or oral words of the people and
behavior that can be observed. In the collecting of data use observation,
interview and documentation. After the data was collected then it is analyzed
using inductive deductive approach. With the step of data reduction analysis, data
presentation, and conclusion.
The results of this research show that there are some activities that are held
during Ramadhan month at boarding school Al-Ikhsan that can build the spiritual
intellegence of student that is to perform fasting, to worship the tarawih prayer in
congregation, to read Al-Qur’an, to pray and to dzikir, listening to lecture,
reviewing the book, hard teaching systen activity, eating meal and breaking fast
together and zakat fitrah. As for the steps that is basic skills, meaning of life,
commitment of worship, faith, free from guilt and sin, self-acceptance and selfesteem,
the need for security, personal intact, interaction with nature and man, live
social, the ability of art to choose, the ability of art to protect themselves, maturity
shown, ability to follow love, and self-sacrificing disciplines.
