Abstract

Incandescent, LED and fluorescent lamps are widely used for lighting in the
community. In addition to the need for public lighting, many manufacturerswith
various brand have made and produced various types of lightin the open market.
Therefore, people can choose any type of lamp favored as needed.
The purpose of this research is to find out the power efficiency incandescent
lamp, flourescent lamp, and LED. Sampling is done using lamps with standard of
SNI. The result of the research is measurement in the room with the width of 5.18
m², from the lamp to the work field 2,4 m got the intensity of lighting at,
incandescent 60 Watt is 37 lx, 12 Watt tornado lamp is 40 lx, and from LED
lamp 10,5 Watt is 74 lx.
LED lamps have the highest efficiency level because of its main working
principle of LED lights which is able to light without electron heating, but only
takes advantage of the release of energy from the electrons diode. As the result,
more light energy is generated.
