Gold mining activity bring influence on social life especially the welfare of
miners. This research inted to knowing the welfare of the gold miners in
Paningkaban Village Gumelar Districts Banyumas Region.
Research methods using qualitative method which is describe, with purposes
to describes landuse locations for mining and knowing prosperity level of gold
miners. The population is 176 miners, 50% samples taken from population total that
is 88 miners. Data colletion technique using sample methods and documentation, and
data analysis technique using qualitative describes. This method are purposes to
explain or describe data which has been collected by researcher.
Study research result welfare of gold miners shows the landuse for mining
activities wich is garden area, income earned by gold miners average enough, so it
can be know prosperity level most of the gold miners are 77,2% enter into category
of underprivileged famillies and 19,13% enter into category prosperous I.
