Abstract
Highway Padamara Purbalingga along ± 4.3 kilometers width of 6 meters is a line connecting the Western parts of Purbalingga Regency of Banyumas with the East. As a liaison to do research to find out the effectiveness of the width of the line towards the traffic capacity at Highway Padamara Purbalingga years 2017-2027. The research method used was a survey of traffic volume to get the current traffic, capacity and degree of saturation with the formula Manually Indonesia road capacity (MKJI 1997) so that it brings a level of evektivitas road. From the results of the research line width 6 meters the year 2017 obtained the capacity (C) 1731 smp/hour, traffic flow (Q) 1482 smp/hour, the degree of saturation (DS) 0.86 which meant saturated conditions. Handling scenario I do changes the width of the line 6 metres to 7 metres was obtained (C) 1990 smp/hour, (Q) 1135 smp/hour 0.57 DS which means the condition is not saturated. Then the width of the line's effectiveness against the traffic capacity of the year 2017 i.e. width of 7 meters. Traffic Capacity analysis the year 2027 first scenario width 7 metres gained 0.92 DS which means saturated conditions. Second handling scenario for the year 2027 line width 9 meters gained 0.74 DS value which means the condition is not saturated. Then the width of the line's effectiveness against the traffic capacity of the year 2027 with a width of 9 meters.
