This study entitled Use Languange In The Padi Lyrics Album “Tak Hanya
Diam” (Study of Structure and Style Language) aims to (1) describe the structure
of sentence in the band Padi lyrics of song on the album Padi band “Tak Hanya Diam”
and (2) describes the force language in the lyrics of song on the album Padi band “Tak
Hanya Diam”.
This study is descriptive qualitative. This study includes three phases, namely
phase supplying the data, the data analysis phase, and the stage presentation of the
result of the analysis. In the phase method of providing data used refer to the tapping
technique. Next, use the advanced techniques in the form technical notes. At this stage
data analysis methods used the agih method frontier. The application of this method
used to match the basic techniques select an element determinant (PUP )which is the
tool that is aggregated mental power possessed by the researchers, while for the agih
method used basic engineering techniques for Direct Elemental (BUL) with advanced
techniques that reverse engineering. Stage presentation data analysis using informal
methods, the presentation that uses only ordinary words.
The result showed that use sentence structure includes the structure declarative
sentences, interrogative sentence structure and sentence structure command. Patterns
of sentence structure is highly variable. Style of language used includes stylistic
climax, anticlimax, parallelism, anthitesis, repetition, epizeuksis, tau-totes,
anadiplosis, and mesodiplosis. Style langunge is based on the structure of the
sentence.
