Abstract

This research background of online games close to the child, but for
parents online games have a positive and negative side for children. This study
aims to measure the perception of parents to online games as an educational media
for adherence to treatment in children in public and private schools Purwokerto
City. This research is a descriptive research with survey method using
questionnaire as a research instrument consisting of 17 statements. Subjects in this
study were parents of students at Purwokerto Elementary School which amounted
to 96 people. Sampling in this research using non probability sampling technique
The results obtained by parents perceptions of online games as
educational media for adherence to the treatment of children in public and private
schools Purwokerto City states that most parents (96%) have a good perception of
the existence of online games as an educational media for medication adherence
in children
