It’s better to make sure in consuming medicine that there is no possibility to
be interaction. This means that in consuming medicine, a patient will be avoided
from the side effect wich gives disvantages for that patient himself. The purpose
this research is to Identify drug interaction for patient taking care at “Rumah
Sakit Umum Daerah Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto”. This research incluced
descriptive by using of data collection method of retrospective. The material that
used is medicine card patient that taking care at “Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah
Margono Soekardjo Purwokerto”. on april 2009. The data’s patient wich was
taken are 280 patients are 115 general patient, 99 health insurance patient and 66
pure patient. Based on this research result, it can be concluded that the potentially
of the drug interaction the most ever happened are ranitidine interaction with
ketoprofen, ranitidine with diazepam, ranitidine with aluminium hidroksida, and
ranitidine with magnesium hidroksida. It is possible that medicine with the drugs
for first significance are furosemid with digoxin, gentamicin with furosemid,
doxycyclyn with penicillin (amoxillin and ampicillin).
