Puskesmas (community health center) is first-level health service facility
existed in every region of Indonesia. In some places in Indonesia, the location of
Puskesmas become an obstacle for patients to access. Therefore, they tend to go to
Puskesmas which its location is known by many people, although the distance
become more away. In fact, there are more Puskesmas located near them, it is due to
lack of information. That is the reason why a geographic information system is
needed which could be used to give information about the location of Puskesmas
located near them. Phases of application development used in the system including
requirements analysis and definition, system and software design, implementation
and unit testing, and integration and system testing. The outcome of this application
development is an Android based geographic information system of Puskesmas in
Banyumas regency. It is completed with features such as searching button, GPS and
detail information of Puskesmas to provide additional information to the users.
