The land suitablity is an appropriatenes of a land to be used for certain
purpose, reviewed from the characteristic of physical environment consisting of
climate, ground, topography, drainage, and hydrology suitable for farming or
certain commodity. This research was aimed at knowing te suitability of pine trees
land with the landslide susceptibility in the Logawa sub – watershed in the
Banyumas Regency.
The methode of this research was field survey, the technique used to take
sample was area sampling. The population of the research was the whole land
along Logawa Sub – watershed. The data of the research were the primary data
obtained from survey as well as laboratory analysis and the secondary data from
several institution resources. The data analysis was by matching to know the level
of land suitability for oine trees in the Logawa sub – watershed in Banyumas
Regency.
The result of the research showed that the land suitability for pine trees
was overall categorized in N level (unsuitable). The limiting factors revealed on
the suscepbility (N) level were temperatur , solum , rainfall, and acidity. The
result of the research was expected to be able to give information to poeple about
the guidance in land use for pine trees and the prevention of the landslide.
