Abstract

According to the rules of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto tht has been applied to get a scholarship for improving academic achievement it is needed some characteristics to decide who has a right of the scholarship. Target of the scholarship is given for the students for improving their learning achievement and for the students in low economic. To decide the scholarship given on target, so it needs decision supporting system. One of the methods that can be used is SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). This method is chosen because it was able to select the best alternative from the total of alternative; in this case to decide the students alternative that has a right to get the scholarship based on the characteristics that have been decided. The research is done by finding of total weighting of each attribute; there was a rank arrangement process that will decide optimal alternative. It was the best students.
