This research was aimed at identifying and describing the pedagogical competence of junior high school English teachers’ in Cilongok
This research used descriptive method in which it described the pedagogical competence of junior high school certified English teacher in Cilongok. The population of this research was the certified junior high school teachers’ in Cilongok. There were 5 certified English teachers in Cilongok. The technique used in collect the data were observation and questionnaire.
After the data had been collected and analyzed, it was found that the percentages of the respondents were 80%. It means that the level of the three certified English teachers’ pedagogical competence were good. While based on the open questionnaire, it was found that the teachers have a good pedagogical competence. There was only a little problem; it is about the two other respondents, they did not want to be observed. Based on the result above, the writer conclude that the certified junior high school English teachers’ pedagogical competence in Cilongok were good enough.
